Final selection of healthy fruit is made on a conveyor belt before the degradation of fruit.
The fermentation of degraded fruit is made in controled conditions, with application of selected types of yeast.
Immediately after the fermentation process, we proceed to the distillation of the overheated fruit distillate. The distillation is made in Charentais-type still with pauses in process.
Second distillation is performed with herbs:
1. WINTER SAVORY AKA RTANJ TEA (lat. Satureja Montana)
2. ST JOHN’S WORT (lat. Hypericum perforatum)
3. MOUNTAIN GERMANDER (lat. Teucrium montanum)
4. MINT (lat. Mentha piperita)
5. YARROW (lat. Achillea millefolium)
6. GENTIAN (lat. Gentiana lutea)
Using fractional distillation process allows us to obtain the most quality distillate for our brandies.
In order to make a harmonic, soft and delicious brandy with an exquisite bouquet, we leave our brandies age in oak barells. While they age and mature, our brandies acquire a fine and specific aroma with light yellow-red color and only then they do become Artania Herbal Brandy.
